Estimator - Aluminum/Facade

About the role

Azizi Manufacturing Azizi Industries is seeking an Estimator specialized in aluminum and glass façade systems. You will translate architectural drawings, specifications and tender documents into accurate, competitive cost estimates for unitised curtain walls, stick systems, doors, windows, cladding, skylights and related metal works.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse tender drawings, specifications, BOQs and contract conditions to identify scope gaps and technical risks.
• Perform detailed Material Take‑Offs (MTO) for aluminium profiles, structural glass, steel inserts, brackets, sealants, gaskets and hardware.
• Calculate direct and indirect costs, including raw materials, fabrication, powder‑coating/anodising, logistics, equipment rental and site installation labour.
• Coordinate with structural engineers and façade system suppliers (e.g., Schuco, Technal, Reynaers, Cortizo) to optimise profile weights and glass performance.
• Prepare complete technical and commercial tender packages, breakdown schedules and value‑engineering options.
• Issue RFQs to material suppliers and specialised subcontractors, evaluate bids and select cost‑effective vendors.
• Participate in tender clarification meetings, negotiate value‑engineering proposals and hand over the baseline budget to operations and project management teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering.
• Proven experience in quantity take‑off, cost estimation and commercial pricing for façade or similar construction projects.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify scope gaps and technical risks.
