Excel Analyst (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a remote Excel Analyst on a contract basis to support a global leader in the Information Services sector. The analyst will use Microsoft Excel to clean, transform, and visualise data, providing actionable insights that drive business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Extract and consolidate data from multiple sources into structured Excel reports.
• Perform data cleaning, validation, and transformation to ensure accuracy.
• Build pivot tables, charts, and interactive dashboards to present key metrics.
• Analyse trends and generate insights to support strategic decision‑making.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather requirements and deliver timely reports.

Required profile

• Proficiency with advanced Excel functions, formulas, and data‑analysis features.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets.
• Basic understanding of statistical analysis techniques.
• Effective communication skills for presenting findings.
