About the role

The Executive Director of Sales & Marketing will shape the commercial future of the iconic Jumeirah Burj Al Arab as it undergoes a landmark restoration. Reporting to senior leadership, this role will drive global demand, craft a contemporary luxury narrative and ensure the property’s market position remains unrivalled.

Key responsibilities

• Define and lead the integrated sales and marketing vision for Jumeirah Burj Al Arab, shaping its global commercial direction.
• Develop and execute a pre‑opening roadmap for the hotel’s restoration and relaunch, building anticipation and demand among UHNW travellers and key market segments.
• Drive sales performance across international source markets, focusing on ultra‑high‑net‑worth guests, luxury consortia, elite travel advisors, diplomatic, corporate, entertainment and high‑value leisure segments.
• Craft a distinctive marketing and communications agenda that celebrates the heritage of Burj Al Arab while introducing a contemporary ultra‑luxury narrative.
• Collaborate closely with the Managing Director, Jumeirah commercial leadership and the Senior Vice President of Global F&B to ensure brand decisions, market activations and commercial initiatives deliver revenue growth and global distinction.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in sales and marketing within luxury hospitality or comparable high‑end sectors.
• Demonstrated ability to design and implement global commercial strategies that generate demand from UHNW clientele.
• Strong track record of managing large‑scale brand refresh or hotel restoration projects.
• Excellent partnership skills with senior executives, including general managers and F&B leaders.
