Executive Pricing – Road Freight

About the role

The Executive – Pricing will support and optimise product and pricing strategies for UAE road freight and transport operations. You will analyse market trends, competitor pricing and operational costs to develop competitive, profitable pricing structures for domestic and cross‑border services.

Key responsibilities

• Own and optimise pricing strategies for FTL, LTL, dedicated fleet and cross‑border road freight.
• Analyse UAE and GCC market trends, competitor rates, customer demand and capacity movements to identify pricing opportunities.
• Assess transportation and fleet operating costs – fuel, tolls, driver wages, maintenance, leasing and subcontractor rates – to support sustainable pricing decisions.
• Identify revenue and margin improvement opportunities through pricing reviews, route optimisation, customer segmentation and contract negotiations.
• Support commercial teams in negotiating pricing agreements with customers, vendors and subcontractors.
• Monitor pricing performance metrics and KPIs such as margin, utilisation, revenue per truck and lane profitability.
• Ensure compliance with DP World policies, UAE transport regulations and commercial governance standards.
• Mitigate pricing risks related to fuel volatility, route restrictions, capacity fluctuations and market changes.
• Provide pricing support for quotations, tenders and RFQs to increase conversion rates.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in road freight pricing, transport operations, freight forwarding or logistics.
• Proven track record in developing and executing pricing strategies.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and cost structures.
• Experience collaborating with operations, fleet, finance and commercial stakeholders.
• Knowledge of UAE and GCC transport regulations and market dynamics.
