Experienced Duct Fabricator – HVAC Projects

About the role

Fabricate HVAC ductwork, fittings, and accessories according to approved shop drawings and fabrication details. Read and interpret HVAC fabrication drawings, duct layouts, and cutting schedules to ensure accurate production.

Key responsibilities

• Measure, mark, cut, bend, fold, notch, and assemble GI, stainless steel, and aluminum duct sheets using appropriate tools.
• Install duct stiffeners, flanges, cleats, corners, and reinforcement as specified.
• Operate fabrication equipment such as guillotine shears, press brakes, Pittsburgh lock machines, lock formers, notchers, rollers, grooving machines, and spot welding machines safely and efficiently.
• Inspect fabricated components for defects and ensure compliance with dimensions, tolerances, and quality standards.
• Maintain fabrication tools, machines, and work areas in good operating condition.
• Coordinate with the HVAC Foreman on fabrication priorities and production schedules.
• Assist in loading, unloading, and proper storage of fabricated duct sections.
• Comply with company HSE policies and wear appropriate PPE during all activities.

Required profile

• ITI / Trade Certificate in Sheet Metal, Mechanical, HVAC, or an equivalent technical trade.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Duct Fabricator on HVAC projects.
• Experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Refinery, LNG, or Industrial EPC projects is preferred.
• Proven experience fabricating GI, stainless steel, and aluminum ductwork is highly desirable.
