Expert - Operations Performance

About the role

AD Ports Group is seeking an Expert in Operations Performance to support its Projects Development team in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on tracking project information, monitoring performance against key indicators, and delivering comprehensive reports to ensure timely and efficient project execution.

Key responsibilities

• Develop logical framework‑based project plans and maintain master schedules to track deliverables, metrics and challenges.
• Monitor project performance, KPIs and delivery timelines, preparing regular status reports.
• Review and advise on scope of work, deliverables and timelines for operations projects.
• Coordinate with equipment and infrastructure service suppliers and with customers to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Conduct audits to verify compliance with company policies, strategies and procedures.
• Perform metrics reporting and data analysis to identify issues and opportunities for process improvement.
• Maintain complete project documentation, including signed paperwork and deliverable tracking.
• Identify and report work‑related hazards, HSE observations, near‑misses and incidents.
• Represent the business unit on multi‑division projects and act as a key player on assigned initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration or related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
• Project Management certification highly desired.
• Minimum 6–8 years of experience handling operations projects, preferably in the port or maritime sector.
• Strong knowledge of cargo handling, port infrastructure development, ISO and IMO standards.
• Excellent English communication skills; Arabic is an advantage.
• Ability to work in a 24 × 7 operating environment.
