External Account Manager – Chemical Raw Materials (Dubai)

About the role

We are looking for an External Account Manager to join Brenntag’s chemical raw‑materials sales team in JAFZA, Dubai. The role focuses on selling raw materials for paints, coatings, inks, adhesives and construction chemicals to customers across the UAE and GCC.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to meet monthly and annual revenue targets in the coatings and construction chemicals market.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities with manufacturers, end‑users and distributors.
• Maintain and grow relationships with assigned clients, suppliers and industry stakeholders.
• Provide technical sales support, including product recommendations, formulation coordination and troubleshooting.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer needs to adapt sales approaches.
• Collaborate with client R&D and supply‑chain teams to align offerings with business objectives.
• Prepare sales forecasts and reports for senior management.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing and supply agreements while ensuring compliance with company policies and QSHE standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry.
• 3‑4 years of sales experience in chemical raw materials, preferably in paints, coatings, adhesives or construction chemicals.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets in the UAE/GCC market.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills in English.
• Willingness to travel within the UAE.

Required skills

• Knowledge of resins, solvents, additives and pigments.
