External Audit Manager – Dubai

About the role

The External Audit Manager will lead audit engagements for a diverse client base, ensuring high‑quality deliverables and proactive issue resolution. Based in Dubai, you will act as the primary liaison with clients, manage audit teams, and drive continuous improvement across the practice.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage audit engagements from planning to delivery.
• Proactively identify and resolve process issues.
• Monitor financial KPIs such as WIP, debtors, billings and realizations.
• Ensure compliance with SLAs and engagement letters.
• Provide training and coaching to junior staff and supervisors.
• Maintain quality assurance standards and conduct detailed work reviews.
• Develop and nurture client relationships through regular meetings.
• Support business development initiatives and practice objectives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or equivalent.
• Professional qualification: CA, CPA or ACCA.
• 5‑6 years of post‑qualification audit experience.
• Experience with clients in real estate, construction, oil & gas, or related sectors.
• Strong background in accounting and team leadership.
• Female Arabic speaker.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of IFRS.
• Proficiency with International Standards on Auditing (ISA).
• Solid accounting expertise.
