Facilities Management Engineer

About the role

The Facilities Management Engineer will ensure seamless operation and maintenance of all building systems for UAE Integrated Facility Management in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on safety, efficiency and sustainability while supporting client expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance of HVAC, electrical, plumbing and fire safety systems.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to coordinate facility projects and upgrades.
• Identify potential issues early and implement practical solutions to mitigate risks.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance and safety compliance.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety and environmental regulations across all managed properties.
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior staff and contractors.
• Participate in emergency response planning and execute corrective actions as required.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience in facility management or engineering within a complex environment.
• Professional certifications such as IFMA or BIFM are advantageous.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with emerging technologies.
