Factory Supervisor – Garments Manufacturing

About the role

The Factory Supervisor will lead a team of sewing machine operators in a leading garments factory located in Saif Zone, Sharjah. You will ensure production targets are met while maintaining high quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Direct, coordinate and schedule activities of sewing machine operators.
• Examine finished products to verify compliance with quality standards.
• Train new employees on sewing machine operation and proper work methods.
• Maintain and monitor inventory levels of materials and supplies.
• Assist with production forecasting, material requirements and labour estimations.
• Oversee maintenance and repair of sewing equipment.
• Identify and resolve production issues to sustain efficiency and quality.
• Prepare reports on production performance, costs and inventory.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in fashion technology, textile engineering or production management (preferred, not mandatory).
• 3‑5 years of direct experience in garment manufacturing, preferably in a supervisory role.
• Strong understanding of the full production process – cutting, stitching, finishing and packing.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate and manage a team to meet targets.
• Excellent verbal and written communication for coordination across departments.
