About the role
Istituto Marangoni is seeking an experienced Fashion Design Lecturer to join its Dubai campus. You will deliver BA and MA courses, guide students through the full design process, and support their portfolio development.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver assigned lessons in line with the Scheme of Work and CAA standards.
- Plan and conduct classroom and laboratory activities that foster student success.
- Collaborate with the Director of Education and Programme Leader to continuously improve the curriculum.
- Assist in drafting and reviewing educational programmes and support visiting professor assignments.
- Supervise student projects, ensuring academic rigor and quality.
- Maintain and update your CV to meet ministerial accreditation requirements.
Required profile
- Master’s degree in Fashion Design or a related field (PhD advantageous).
- Minimum three years of teaching experience at an international university‑level institution.
- Proven industry experience in fashion design, preferably within the luxury sector.
Required skills
- Strong understanding of the fashion design process from concept research to final collection development, including portfolio building and presentation.
- Excellent drawing and illustration skills, both hand‑drawn and digital.
