F&B Support Expert (Busboy)

About the role

Our F&B Support Experts take the initiative to ensure food and beverage operations run smoothly at Al Maha, a Luxury Collection Desert Resort & Spa. You will set tables, assist the kitchen, clean work areas and replenish supplies, turning routine service into a memorable guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly, anticipate their needs, and provide courteous service throughout their stay.
• Maintain cleanliness of dining and service areas by clearing, collecting, and returning food and beverage items using clean‑as‑you‑go procedures.
• Set tables according to event type and service standards, ensuring proper linens, glassware, and cutlery.
• Prepare basic ingredients, portion, chop, and store food items for the kitchen.
• Complete opening and closing inventories, restock supplies, and secure equipment and storage areas.
• Follow safety and security protocols, report incidents, and use PPE and proper lifting techniques.

Required profile

• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• Effective communication and listening abilities, with good English proficiency.
• Dependable, positive demeanor, integrity, and safety‑oriented mindset.
• Ability to multitask, adapt to changing demands, and retain information.
• Higher education, diploma or equivalent; no prior experience required.
