Female Accountant

About the role

Red Castle is seeking a diligent Accountant to join its finance team in Dubai. The role involves overseeing the full accounting cycle, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting cash‑flow management. The successful candidate will work closely with senior management and external auditors.

Key responsibilities

• Verify purchase orders and check requests prepared by the assistant accountant, ensuring payments are authorized, properly documented, and coded to the correct cost centres.
• Review and approve journal entries in Microsoft Dynamics AX, making correcting or adjusting entries as needed.
• Manage and forecast cash flow to support operational needs.
• Perform monthly bank, inter‑company and turnover reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly schedules for pre‑payment amortisation and fixed‑asset depreciation.
• Calculate monthly OPEX accruals, gratuity provisions and air‑ticket allowances.
• Lead month‑end and year‑end closing, produce the financial statements package and analyse the reports before submission to the Managing Director and Financial Controller.
• Generate monthly management reports and liaise with auditors during audit engagements.
• Supervise two junior accountants and contribute to budget forecasting and ad‑hoc reporting.

Required profile

• Female accountant of Filipino or Indian nationality.
• Immediately available is preferred.
• Strong command of written and spoken English.
• Mandarin language skills are an advantage.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX.
