About the role
Launch your engineering career as a Field Engineer in Weatherford’s NextGen Graduate Program, based in Abu Dhabi, UAE. You will work on oil‑and‑gas rigs, bridging cutting‑edge technology with real‑world wellsite challenges, gaining hands‑on experience from day one.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare, deploy and operate advanced downhole tools to meet wellsite objectives.
- Use simulation software to design and optimise solutions tailored to client needs.
- Analyse performance data, recommend improvements and produce detailed post‑job reports.
- Manage equipment logistics and ensure safe, seamless setup at rig sites.
- Provide front‑line engineering support, resolve issues independently and champion safety and quality.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in any engineering discipline obtained within the last 24 months.
- Maximum of one year of professional experience.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
- Strong communication, interpersonal and analytical skills.
- Willingness to work 12‑hour shifts in remote, on‑shore or off‑shore environments.
