Field Service Engineer – Gas & Process Division

About the role

Atlas Copco is seeking a Field Service Engineer to deliver high‑quality service and technical support for its turbo machinery portfolio across the MEA region and Pakistan. The role involves direct interaction with customers, troubleshooting, maintenance, and training on turbo compressors and expanders.

Key responsibilities

• Perform troubleshooting, diagnostics, preventive maintenance, inspections, and overhauls on turbo machinery.
• Execute workshop activities, prepare schedules, and compile risk assessments, method statements, and inspection/testing plans.
• Deliver detailed service reports and recommend spare parts, upgrades, and enhancements.
• Conduct overhauls on LNG vessels, both sailing and dry‑dock.
• Collaborate with product companies to resolve technical issues and answer customer queries.
• Train customer personnel on operation and maintenance of turbo machinery.
• Support aftermarket data projects with the sales team during idle periods.
• Maintain flexibility for extended hours, weekends, and on‑call schedules.

Required profile

• Degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering (or equivalent technical certifications).
• Minimum 3 years of experience servicing, maintaining, and repairing rotating equipment.
• Strong communication, organizational and reporting abilities.
• Independent, results‑driven, adaptable and willing to travel extensively on short notice.
