Field Service Engineer

About the role

Field Service Operations Department is looking for a Field Service Engineer to be located in Dubai, UAE. This is an interesting and challenging opportunity to join a dynamic, motivated and competent team while working in one of the most exciting markets.

Key responsibilities

• Undertake on‑site and service‑center servicing of equipment according to Alfa Laval standards.
• Install, commission, troubleshoot, audit, and maintain high‑speed separators, decanters, plate heat exchangers and rotating equipment.
• Provide technical advice, train customer crews, and act as a service advisor to grow the service business.
• Execute service agreements, document visits, resolve complaints quickly, and generate service leads.
• Support remote guidance, adhere to QHSE procedures, and use Alfa Laval digital tools for reporting and planning.

• Independent, robust, able to thrive in a high‑travel, active environment.
• Fluent in spoken and written English; valid driving licence required.

Required skills

• High‑speed separators, decanters, plate heat exchangers.
• Electrical/PLC controls (EPC, 2‑touch, basic, Plus).
• Heat‑exchange component troubleshooting, stripping, cleaning, repair, assembly, testing.
• Rotating equipment mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
• Process control instrumentation and industrial networking.
• Microsoft Office and digital reporting tools (OneService, Lead app, HSE Near‑miss app, Workday, Sensei IB).
