Finance and Contracts Section Head

About the role

The Finance and Contracts Section Head will support the Support Services Division in achieving its strategic objectives by overseeing financial planning, budgeting, and contract management. This senior role ensures operational efficiency, compliance with policies, and the implementation of innovative financial controls.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in developing the division’s strategic objectives and gather feedback from stakeholders.
• Lead the collection, consolidation, and internal approval of budget forecasts from all organizational units.
• Oversee budget allocations, monitor compliance, and initiate corrective actions when deviations occur.
• Design and implement a financial reporting system to provide accurate and systematic financial information.
• Develop and track key performance indicators to monitor financial performance and mitigate risks.
• Prepare budget discrepancy and financial reports, escalating issues and proposing remediation plans.
• Support periodic reviews of policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
• Promote innovation, cross‑division collaboration, and the use of technology within the finance function.
