Finance Business Partner

About the role

The Finance Business Partner will lead the partnership between Finance and Gulf business directors, supporting the achievement of strategic and operational goals aligned with AstraZeneca's overall strategy. This role provides financial insight, advice, and guidance to senior leaders across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Gulf business leaders and the Leadership Team to deliver performance insights and influence decision‑making.
• Maintain consolidated management reporting and ensure compliance with Group Policy in technical and specialist areas.
• Develop business cases, track benefits, and define KPIs to meet future financial information needs.
• Collaborate with the Gulf Financial Controller on the Financial Control Framework to uphold high standards of controllership.
• Work closely with the wider Gulf Finance Team and global central teams to share best practices and deliver consistent support.
• Jointly own forecast accuracy, challenge cost drivers, and create reliable operational and financial forecasts.

Required profile

• Minimum 96 months (8 years) of finance experience, preferably in a multinational environment.
• Proven ability to act as a finance business expert and influence senior stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of financial controlling, budgeting cycles, and performance management.
• Excellent communication skills to convey complex financial information clearly.
