Finance Business Partner

About the role

The client, a leader in global payments technology, is seeking a Finance Business Partner to support the Sub‑Regional CFO. The role involves close collaboration with cross‑functional teams, business project offices, and senior stakeholders to drive financial governance and strategic planning.

Key responsibilities

• Lead financial governance of the Market Development Fund (MDF) across sub‑regional clusters and countries.
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, Annual Operating Plans (AOPs) and multi‑year growth planning.
• Conduct MDF trend analysis, product‑mix analysis and provide actionable insights.
• Monitor risks and opportunities, ensuring optimal MDF utilization and compliance with GAAP.
• Support resource allocation, costing models and efficiency improvements for MDF initiatives.
• Track project performance, align financial progress with business targets and prepare dashboards for senior stakeholders.
• Lead monthly reviews, investigate variances and coordinate timely execution of priority projects and payments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics or a related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of financial analysis experience in multinational or large organisations.
• Strong analytical, quantitative and problem‑solving abilities.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Hyperion/TM1 is a plus.
• Proven ability to manage large data sets and build robust financial models.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills within a matrix environment.
• High attention to detail, accuracy and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, diverse international setting.
• Fluent in written and spoken English; knowledge of the cards/payments industry is advantageous.
