Finance Business Partner Officer (UAE National)

About the role

The Finance Business Partner Officer will join Etihad Airways’ Finance Business Partnering team in Abu Dhabi, providing financial analysis, reporting and insight to support business decisions. The role is open to UAE nationals and involves working closely with department heads to monitor performance and drive budgeting processes.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial reports, presentations and variance analyses for senior management.
• Contribute to the preparation, consolidation and finalisation of the annual budget, current estimates and long‑term planning.
• Generate and circulate monthly management reporting packs and KPI dashboards.
• Analyse large data sets, extract relevant information and produce commentaries for decision‑making.
• Consolidate operational data for full‑year result estimates and support post‑budget journal entries.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related field.
• Minimum two years of experience as a financial analyst or in financial systems and reporting.
• Working towards a professional finance qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA) is preferred.
• Fluent written and spoken English; additional languages are a plus.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel and overall Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Experience with SAP or similar accounting systems.
• Familiarity with Business Intelligence tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
