Finance Controller – Real Estate (Dubai)

About the role

The Finance Controller will lead day‑to‑day financial operations for a semi‑government real‑estate holding group in Dubai. You will be responsible for treasury, accounting, tax compliance and internal controls across development, leasing and project‑related payments.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the period‑end close, ensuring accurate journal entries, reconciliations and GL integrity.
• Own the General Ledger and guarantee all balance‑sheet accounts are fully reconciled each month.
• Design, implement and monitor Internal Controls over Financial Reporting (ICFR) across finance processes.
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations and support related filings.
• Oversee end‑to‑end Accounts Payable, project payments, contractor certifications and sales commissions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline.
• Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CA, CFA or CMA.
• 7‑12 years of experience in financial controls, treasury and operational finance, preferably in UAE real‑estate or construction.
• Hands‑on experience with ICFR, audit or risk frameworks.
