Finance Executive (FP&A Trainee)

About the role

The Finance Executive (FP&A Trainee) will support the Financial Planning & Analysis function at Al‑Futtaim, assisting in the preparation and distribution of financial reports, managing budget and forecast cycles, and performing detailed financial analysis. The role works closely with the Financial Reporting Manager and interacts with multiple business stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Monthly MIS: extract, organize and circulate financial reports to stakeholders.
• Budget & Forecast Submission: manage end‑to‑end budget and forecast uploads in SAP & BPC, communicate final P&L figures.
• Financial Analysis: conduct monthly variance analysis for each Line of Business and provide actionable insights.
• Support Ad‑hoc Requests: respond to queries from Business Analysts and Operations, ensuring compliance with Group Reporting requirements.

Required profile

• B.Com (completed or pursuing) or Inter CA / Inter CMA.
• 0‑2 years of experience, preferably in engineering or construction finance.
• Proficiency with ERP financial software, especially SAP and BPC.
• Strong analytical, functional and communication abilities.
