Finance Executive

About the role

BookBI is seeking a Finance Executive to join its Dubai office on a full‑time basis. The role supports the company’s AI‑driven accounting platform by handling core financial operations, client‑facing accounting tasks, and contributing to product enhancements.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review and finalize financial statements and end‑of‑period closing activities.
• Assist in the production of management reports and regulatory submissions.
• Analyze financial data, identify trends and provide actionable insights to senior management.
• Ensure accurate recording of transactions and support tax‑related processes, including GST and UAE compliance.
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve financial workflows and reporting standards.
• Provide domain knowledge and feedback to refine BookBI’s AI‑powered finance features.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CMA) are a plus.
• Strong foundation in finance with experience preparing and reviewing financial statements.
• Proficiency in financial reporting and regulatory submissions.
• Advanced analytical skills for interpreting data and supporting decision‑making.
• Knowledge of GST or similar indirect tax frameworks; familiarity with UAE tax standards is advantageous.
• Comfort with technology‑driven finance tools and cloud‑based accounting platforms.
