Finance Manager

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Finance Manager to lead the day‑to‑day financial operations of our newly established UAE entity. Reporting to the Finance Director, you will set up finance processes, manage banking relationships and ensure regulatory compliance while supporting the business’s rapid growth.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting activities for the UAE entity, including accounts payable, receivable, supplier payments and customer invoicing.
• Perform bank reconciliations, cash management and monitor working capital and cash flow.
• Prepare monthly management accounts, balance‑sheet reconciliations and support quarterly and year‑end reporting.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and produce financial reports for senior finance leadership.
• Lead the establishment of the UAE finance function, corporate banking facilities and implementation of ERP/financial controls.
• Liaise with external auditors, banks and professional advisors to ensure compliance with UAE VAT, corporate tax and IFRS standards.
• Develop finance policies, support payroll coordination, procurement and vendor onboarding.
• Provide financial analysis for commercial decisions and support ad‑hoc projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Professional qualification (ACCA, ACA, CPA or CIMA) preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of finance or accounting experience, preferably in the UAE.
• Hands‑on experience setting up finance processes for a new business.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel.
• ERP systems – SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite or similar.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS.
• Experience with UAE VAT and corporate tax compliance.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
