Finance Officer (Emirati Talent)

About the role

The Officer will support the Finance team in managing and enhancing the Bank's financial processes, assist with financial analysis and reporting, and contribute to various projects aimed at optimizing financial operations and compliance. Key responsibilities include assisting in accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, and ledger maintenance.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in day‑to‑day financial operations including accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, and ledger maintenance.
• Support preparation and analysis of financial statements, reports, and budgets.
• Monitor financial transactions to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain documentation of financial policies, procedures, and controls.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to provide financial insights and solutions.
• Participate in financial projects such as audits, system upgrades, and process improvements.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing activities.
• Stay updated on financial regulations and industry best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or related field.
• Basic understanding of financial principles, accounting standards and financial reporting.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new financial systems, processes and regulations.
