About the role
We are looking for a Financial Accountant to join Hidayet Trading LLC in Abu Dhabi. The role involves managing day‑to‑day accounting, preparing management reports and supporting VAT compliance.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare management reports and financial statements, including consolidation.
- Handle day‑to‑day accounting, bookkeeping, forecasts and budgets.
- Manage VAT registration, return filings and respond to VAT queries.
- Assist in annual external audits and ensure compliance with IFRS and local reporting standards.
- Understand business requirements and processes to improve financial procedures.
Required profile
- Minimum 3‑4 years experience in an accounting or auditing firm.
- Master’s degree in Accounting and Finance; ACCA qualification preferred.
- Strong analytical and numerical abilities with excellent English proficiency.
Required skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel.
- Advanced PowerPoint.
- In‑depth knowledge of UAE VAT regulations.
- Up‑to‑date understanding of IFRS and other reporting standards.
- Proficiency with multiple accounting software packages.
