Financial Analyst – Construction Chemicals

About the role

We are seeking a Financial Analyst to join a well‑established construction chemicals company in the UAE. The role involves daily cost monitoring, margin analysis and supporting the month‑end closing process for production, sales and support activities.

Key responsibilities

• Review cost centres, cost elements and expenses on a daily and monthly basis.
• Conduct margin analysis by product, market, customer and other relevant categories.
• Assist in monitoring and controlling overall production costs.
• Participate in month‑end closing of cost accounting with relevant process owners.
• Support periodic stock counts of bulk materials and quarterly inventory verification.
• Contribute to annual business planning, budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Prepare presentations and analytical reports as directed by management.
• Develop tools for financial analysis and forecasting.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 + years of experience, preferably in a construction chemicals environment.
• Professional qualification such as CA, CIMA or ACCA.
• At least one year of hands‑on training in costing and accounting.
• Strong analytical abilities and knowledge of costing, accounting and auditing.
