Financial Analyst

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Financial Analyst to join Rak Bank’s finance team in the United Arab Emirates. The role focuses on analysing financial data, supporting reporting, and driving automation initiatives to strengthen controls.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse financial data and trends to support management reporting and business decision‑making.
• Perform and monitor reconciliations across multiple banking and finance systems, ensuring timely resolution of discrepancies.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for finance system enhancements and process changes.
• Assist in gathering business requirements and validating system changes for successful implementation.
• Prepare financial reports, dashboards, and management insights for key stakeholders.
• Partner with Finance, IT, Operations, and Risk teams to maintain governance, compliance, and operational excellence.
• Contribute to balance sheet substantiation, risk monitoring, and financial control activities.

Required profile

• UAE National with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, finance operations or financial controls.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, reconciliations and accounting principles.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
