Financial Controller – Full-time, Dubai

About the role

FounderFactory is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join its Dubai office on a full-time, on-site basis. The role will lead the finance function, ensuring accurate financial statements, robust budgeting, and compliant reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with applicable standards.
• Develop, monitor and control annual budgets and forecasts.
• Manage the organization’s financial reporting processes and ensure timely delivery.
• Implement and maintain sound accounting practices and internal controls.
• Analyse financial data to provide insights for strategic decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, tax and legal requirements.
• Mentor and develop junior finance team members.
• Collaborate with other departments to optimise financial performance.

Required profile

• Proven ability to create and manage financial statements and reporting.
• Strong finance and accounting knowledge, including regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Exceptional analytical skills with a detail-oriented approach.
• Demonstrated leadership and team-management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA, CMA or equivalent is a plus.
• Advanced proficiency with financial software and tools.
• Experience in the UAE market or similar economic environments is advantageous.
