Financial Planning Analyst

About the role

As a Financial Planning Analyst at GCGRA you will support the organisation’s financial planning, analysis and cash‑management activities. You will work closely with business units and senior stakeholders to deliver accurate financial insights, drive budgeting and forecasting processes and help maintain liquidity and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Support the annual budgeting and periodic forecasting cycles, develop realistic financial targets and build detailed financial models for scenario analysis.
• Prepare monthly management reports, perform variance analysis, and create dashboards to monitor performance against targets.
• Partner with all GCGRA divisions, present financial information clearly to non‑finance audiences and promote financial discipline.
• Prepare cash‑flow forecasts, monitor liquidity, manage bank relationships and oversee treasury controls across the UAE.
• Assist long‑term strategic planning, evaluate projects and capital investments, and provide market and macro‑economic insights.
• Drive automation in financial planning, ensure data accuracy in ERP systems and support compliance with IFRS and UAE regulatory standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
• Professional qualification preferred (ACA, ACCA, CPA, CMA or CFA).
• 5–8 years of experience in FP&A, management reporting or financial analysis, preferably in a multinational or regional organisation.
• Strong financial modelling and advanced analytical abilities.
• Excellent command of Excel and experience with ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP.
• Solid understanding of budgeting, forecasting, cash‑flow management and financial reporting.
• Experience in treasury management and cash‑flow forecasting.
