Food and Beverage Attendant – Abu Dhabi

About the role

We are looking for a friendly and professional Food and Beverage Attendant to join our team at the Mercure Abu Dhabi Downtown. In this role you will ensure guests receive warm, attentive service while maintaining high standards of safety and hygiene.

Key responsibilities

• Provide professional, friendly and engaging service to all guests.
• Demonstrate thorough knowledge of menu items, beverages, garnishes and current promotions.
• Assist guests with menu information and answer queries in an informative manner.
• Follow all safety, sanitation and outlet policies when handling food and beverages.
• Handle cash and non‑cash transactions, prepare shift end reports and deposit monies as required.
• Attend pre‑meal briefings, weekly and monthly meetings to continuously improve guest experience.
• Maintain a clean, neatly pressed uniform and name badge, and ensure proper linen counting at shift end.
• Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Required profile

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Fluent in English; Arabic is an asset.
• Highly responsible, reliable and able to work under pressure.
• Team‑oriented with strong interpersonal and problem‑solving abilities.
• Previous experience with the Micros POS system is a plus (training provided).
