About the role

Join the banquet team at a prestigious hotel in Dubai, delivering exceptional food and beverage service for a variety of events. You will work closely with kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth operations and memorable guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Set up banquet rooms, including tables, chairs, linens, and place settings according to event specifications.
• Greet and welcome guests, creating a positive first impression.
• Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally.
• Anticipate guest needs and respond quickly to requests.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of banquet areas throughout events.
• Assist with post‑event breakdown and cleanup.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service delivery.
• Handle guest inquiries, resolve issues efficiently, and process payments accurately.
• Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
• Participate in pre‑shift briefings and training sessions.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in food and beverage service, preferably in banquet settings.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
