Food & Beverage Assistant – In‑Room Dining

About the role

The Food & Beverage Assistant will join the In‑Room Dining team at Crowne Plaza Dubai Marina, delivering professional and personalized service to guests enjoying meals in their rooms. This full‑time position supports the hotel’s commitment to high‑quality hospitality for modern business and leisure travelers.

Key responsibilities

• Perform all tasks required to service food & beverage according to the hotel’s performance manual.
• Greet guests, take orders and serve meals discreetly and efficiently.
• Maintain in‑depth knowledge of the In‑Room Dining menu to advise and upsell where appropriate.
• Monitor food and beverage quality throughout service and address any issues promptly.
• Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism, ensuring satisfaction.
• Uphold hygiene and cleanliness standards in the service area and maintain all equipment.
• Prepare service stations (mise‑en‑place) before, during and after each shift.
• Answer telephone orders following standard operating procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum 1–2 years experience in a similar role within a four‑ or five‑star hotel or comparable environment.
• Ability to work with multicultural teams and communicate clearly in English.
• Detail‑oriented with a strong focus on quality and service standards.
• Capable of multitasking, meeting deadlines and maintaining high performance under pressure.

Required skills

• Proficiency with hotel food & beverage software (technical proficiency in related software preferred).
