About the role

Join our dynamic team as a Food and Beverage Attendant specializing in Banquets at a prestigious hotel in Dubai. We are looking for a customer‑focused, efficient individual to deliver exceptional service during banquet events.

Key responsibilities

• Set up banquet rooms, including tables, chairs, linens and place settings according to event specifications.
• Greet and welcome guests, ensuring a positive first impression.
• Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and professional manner.
• Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to requests.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of banquet areas throughout events.
• Assist with post‑event breakdown and cleanup.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service delivery.
• Handle guest inquiries, resolve issues efficiently and process payments accurately.
• Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
• Participate in pre‑shift briefings and training sessions.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in food and beverage service, preferably in banquet settings.
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, supportive demeanor.
• Knowledge of banquet operations and procedures.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
