About the role

The Food & Beverage Service Apprentice will join the Brooklyn Chop House team at W Hotels in Abu Dhabi, supporting the Guest Service Experts in delivering memorable dining experiences. This entry‑level position offers hands‑on training in all aspects of restaurant service, from table setup to guest interaction.

Key responsibilities

• Set and clear tables, ensuring a clean and welcoming environment.
• Communicate orders and special requests accurately with the kitchen staff.
• Serve food and beverages to guests, responding promptly to their needs.
• Maintain work areas and supplies, adhering to health and safety standards.
• Handle menu information, verify items visually, and assist guests with menu queries.
• Perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 25 lb unassisted (50 lb with assistance), reaching, bending, and moving across varied surfaces.
• Uphold uniform standards, personal appearance, and professional communication at all times.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Less than one year of related food‑and‑beverage experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Ability to work on feet for extended periods and perform physical duties safely.
• Willingness to follow company policies, quality standards, and safety procedures.
