Food & Beverage Supervisor

About the role

The Food & Beverage Supervisor will ensure the highest service standards at Swissotel Al Ghurair and Swissotel Living Al Ghurair. Reporting to the Restaurant Manager, you will lead a team of front‑of‑house staff, maintain a pristine dining environment, and guarantee guest satisfaction in a fast‑paced, upscale hotel setting.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Restaurant Manager in driving sales and reducing waste.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of the wine list and overall beverage offerings.
• Organise the restaurant for service, ensuring cleanliness and adherence to hygiene standards.
• Uphold personal and team grooming standards; ensure uniform compliance.
• Foster strong teamwork and communication among all staff members.
• Apply established service procedures and present dishes according to hotel standards.
• Ensure the safety and well‑being of guests and team members.
• Provide clear, objective feedback and recommendations to management.
• Attend all required meetings, cross‑training sessions, and departmental trainings.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a supervisory role within food and beverage operations.
• Strong leadership with the ability to coach and develop team members.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to hygiene standards.
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests and senior management.
• Flexibility to adapt schedules and handle special requests promptly.

Required skills

• Wine knowledge and general beverage expertise.
• Familiarity with food‑service standards and procedures.
