Food Runner

About the role

The Food Runner will support the service team at Sunset Hospitality Group’s lifestyle venues in Dubai by delivering dishes quickly and accurately from the kitchen to guests. This fast‑paced position requires excellent presentation, hygiene and guest‑service standards in a high‑volume environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver food promptly to the correct tables and guests.
• Check dishes for accuracy, presentation and completeness before leaving the kitchen.
• Announce dishes clearly and communicate any allergy or dietary information.
• Coordinate with waiters, supervisors and kitchen staff during service.
• Assist with clearing, resetting and maintaining clean service areas.
• Handle plates and service equipment safely and professionally.
• Follow food‑safety, hygiene and brand‑service standards.
• Support the wider front‑of‑house team during busy periods.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Food Runner, Commis Waiter or Waiter Assistant preferred.
• Experience in a busy restaurant, beach club or lifestyle‑dining concept.
• Good English communication skills.
• Energetic, presentable and guest‑focused.
• Strong teamwork, speed and attention to detail.
