Food Service Supervisor (Secret Clearance) – Abu Dhabi

About the role

The DFAC Supervisor leads daily dining‑facility operations at Al Dhafra Air Base, supporting the 380th Expeditionary Force Support Squadron. The role ensures safe, high‑quality meal service while complying with AFCAP, U.S. Air Force, and health‑regulation standards in a high‑tempo, deployed environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a ZERO‑Harm workplace by enforcing safety, food‑safety, and sanitation standards.
• Directly supervise DFAC staff—including cooks, food‑service workers, and support personnel—during assigned shifts.
• Execute daily meal‑service operations, ensuring timely preparation, serving, and replenishment.
• Monitor food‑handling, storage, temperature control, and contamination‑prevention procedures.
• Oversee sanitation and cleanliness of kitchens, serving lines, dining areas, and storage spaces.
• Manage serving‑line flow to meet required throughput standards.
• Conduct pre‑ and post‑meal inspections to verify readiness and proper close‑out.
• Ensure proper batch‑cooking and food‑preparation processes are followed.

Required profile

• Active Secret clearance.
• Minimum 36 months (3 years) experience in high‑volume food service or dining‑facility operations.
• Experience with inventory control and stock management.
• ServSafe certification or equivalent food‑safety qualification.
• Ability to work in a deployed, high‑tempo environment.
