Food Service Supervisor – Secret Clearance (AFCAP V DFAC)

About the role

The Food Service Supervisor (Secret Clearance) leads daily dining‑facility operations at Al Dhafra Air Base, supporting the 380th Expeditionary Force Support Squadron. This role ensures safe, high‑quality meal service in a high‑tempo, deployed environment while complying with AFCAP, U.S. Air Force and health regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a ZERO Harm workplace, enforcing safety, food safety and sanitation standards.
• Supervise DFAC staff during assigned shifts, including cooks, food service workers and support personnel.
• Execute daily meal service operations, ensuring timely preparation, serving and replenishment of food items.
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards, proper handling, storage, temperature control and contamination prevention.
• Monitor sanitation and cleanliness across kitchen, serving lines, dining areas and storage spaces.
• Oversee serving line operations to meet required service throughput.
• Conduct pre‑ and post‑meal inspections and manage batch cooking processes.
• Supervise equipment use, cleaning and coordinate maintenance repairs.

Required profile

• Active Secret security clearance.
• Experience supervising food service personnel in a high‑tempo, deployed environment.
• Ability to work on‑site at Al Dhafra Air Base supporting 380th EFSS.
