Food Trading Manager – Retail (MENA)

About the role

The Food Trading Manager is responsible for maximising trading opportunities across the MENA region for Al‑Futtaim's Food Business Unit, supporting Marks & Spencer stores. The role combines strategic planning, merchandising excellence and change leadership to deliver a seamless customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a robust Trading Calendar, trading MI and clear Trading Guidelines for all food hall stores.
• Coach and lead retail teams to achieve ‘Best in Class’ visual and merchandising standards.
• Manage multiple transformation projects, adjusting plans to meet timelines and objectives.
• Guide Regional and Store Managers through concept, implementation and post‑review phases of initiatives.
• Deliver exceptional visual standards for product launches on the sales floor and backstage.

Required profile

• Leadership and store management experience within food retail.
• Strong visual merchandising expertise with a coaching mindset.
• Proven communication skills to influence and challenge senior stakeholders.
• Robust commercial acumen and decision‑making ability under pressure.
