Foreman - Civil (Bridge Maintenance)

About the role

The Foreman – Civil (Bridge Maintenance) will supervise daily civil works on bridge construction, rehabilitation and maintenance projects in Abu Dhabi. Reporting to the Site Engineer, the role ensures that all activities are carried out safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate civil works including concrete repairs, structural repairs, formwork, reinforcement and waterproofing.
• Allocate manpower, tools and materials to ensure smooth execution of daily activities.
• Read and interpret construction drawings, method statements and work instructions.
• Coordinate with Site Engineers, Project Engineers and subcontractors to meet project targets.
• Monitor workmanship, conduct regular site checks and report progress, issues and requirements.
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) requirements and maintain proper housekeeping.

Required profile

• Technical qualification or Diploma in Civil Engineering or a relevant trade.
• Minimum 5 years experience as a Civil Foreman on bridge or infrastructure projects in the UAE.
• Valid UAE manual driving licence.
• Hands‑on experience with concrete works, structural repairs, reinforcement, formwork and waterproofing.
