Foundation Stage 1 Teacher – Immediate Start

About the role

GEMS Al Barsha National School is seeking an enthusiastic Foundation Stage 1 Teacher to join its early years team as soon as possible. The role involves creating a nurturing, play‑based learning environment for young children, supporting their confidence, independence and social development.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging EYFS‑aligned lessons that incorporate purposeful play.
• Assess and monitor each child's progress, providing personalised feedback.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers, support staff and families to ensure holistic development.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive classroom and uphold the school’s values and policies.
• Integrate appropriate technology to enhance learning experiences.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.
• Recognised teaching qualification such as PGCE or PGDE.
• Experience teaching Foundation Stage/Early Years, preferably within a British curriculum.
• Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage framework.
• Passion for early childhood education and high expectations for pupil wellbeing.
