About the role

The school is seeking a dedicated French Teacher to deliver high‑quality language instruction to students in Dubai. The role involves planning lessons, assessing student progress, and contributing to the school’s curriculum while fostering a safe and supportive learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Teach allocated French classes and prepare related lesson plans.
• Assess, monitor, record, and report on student performance.
• Provide academic advice and guidance to students.
• Promote and safeguard students’ wellbeing and safety.
• Collaborate with parents and staff to support student interests.
• Engage in continuous professional development.
• Contribute to the development of the school curriculum.
• Help maintain order and discipline in the classroom and school.

Required profile

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in French or related field.
• Recognized teaching qualification (e.g., B.Ed, Master of Education, Professional Teaching Certificate) from an accredited institution.
• Ability to meet UAE’s TELS teacher certification requirements and obtain Competent Teacher Status within the first year of employment.
