Front Office Manager

About the role

The Front Office Manager leads the front‑office team at The Meydan Hotel, ensuring exceptional guest experiences while supporting revenue optimisation and operational excellence. Reporting to senior management, the role acts as Manager on Duty and coordinates daily activities across Guest Relations, Concierge, Bell Services and Telephone Operations.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of Front Office, Guest Relations, Concierge, Bell Services and Telephone Operators to maintain high service standards.
• Serve as primary escalation point for guest inquiries, applying effective service recovery and ensuring maximum satisfaction.
• Deliver personalised service for VIP, repeat and loyalty guests, monitor online feedback and enforce LQA and brand standards.
• Drive upselling, room upgrades and premium sales; track ADR, RevPAR and occupancy; optimise inventory and over‑booking with Revenue Management.
• Manage departmental budgets, purchasing, cash handling and P&L monitoring to ensure profitability.
• Hire, coach, schedule and evaluate staff; conduct performance reviews and identify training needs.
• Coordinate group and VIP arrivals, work closely with Housekeeping and executive management to streamline service delivery.

Required profile

• Minimum 48 months (4 years) of experience in front‑office or hospitality management.
• Proven ability to lead and develop a front‑of‑house team in a luxury hotel environment.
• Strong understanding of revenue management concepts such as ADR, RevPAR and occupancy optimisation.
• Excellent problem‑solving and guest‑service recovery skills.
