Front Office Supervisor – Luxury Hotel

About the role

As a Front Office Supervisor you will lead the front desk team during your shift, ensuring every guest enjoys a smooth and memorable stay at the InterContinental Ras Al Khaimah Mina Al Arab Resort and Spa. You will be the primary point of contact for arrivals, departures and guest enquiries, upholding the brand’s high standards of service and hospitality.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise front office operations throughout the shift, guaranteeing seamless guest journeys from check‑in to check‑out.
• Lead, coach and support colleagues to deliver professional, personalised service.
• Respond promptly to guest requests, feedback and concerns, handling complaints and service recovery.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping, Concierge, Reservations and other departments to ensure integrated guest experiences.
• Monitor performance, conduct handovers and ensure compliance with brand standards, safety procedures and hotel policies.
• Promote room upselling and other revenue‑enhancing opportunities.

Required profile

• Previous experience in front office or guest services, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort.
• Demonstrated supervisory or team‑leading experience.
• Strong communication, problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
• Attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
• Fluent English; additional languages are a plus.

Required skills

• Good knowledge of Front Office systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
