Full Professor – Strategic Management (Assistant/Associate/Full)

About the role

Zayed University’s College of Business is hiring faculty members with expertise in strategic management for its Abu Dhabi and Dubai campuses. The appointment can be at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level, and will involve teaching core and elective courses while contributing to the university’s research agenda.

Key responsibilities

• Teach the core Strategic Management course and one or more additional management subjects.
• Develop and deliver courses in Entrepreneurial Venture Creation, Social Entrepreneurship, and Innovation Management.
• Conduct high‑quality research published in reputable, peer‑reviewed journals.
• Collaborate with faculty working on organizational sustainability, social innovation, and university technology transfer.
• Participate actively in college and university committees.

Required profile

• PhD in Management from an AACSB or EQUIS‑accredited business school at a QS‑ranked university.
• For Assistant Professor: prior publications in Scopus‑indexed, ABDC‑ranked journals and teaching experience in strategic management.
• For Associate/Full Professor: strong record of publications in Scopus‑indexed, ABDC‑ranked journals, evidence of course development, and experience serving on academic committees.

Required skills

• Expertise in strategic management theory and practice.
• Knowledge of entrepreneurial venture creation, social entrepreneurship, and innovation management.
• Ability to conduct rigorous academic research and publish in top journals.
