Full Stack Developer

About the role

Zurich Workplace Solutions (ZWS), the administrator of the DIFC Employee Workplace Savings plan, is seeking a dynamic Full Stack Developer to join its IT department. Reporting to the Head of IT Infrastructure, you will work on both front‑end and back‑end systems, creating new solutions and maintaining existing APIs for Zurich customers.

Key responsibilities

• Connect to databases using EF Core and manage schemas via migrations.
• Develop software using a test‑driven approach.
• Address security issues identified by SonarQube and API Right.
• Test Web APIs with Postman and manage APIs via MuleSoft or similar platforms.
• Implement user authentication/authorization using OAuth flows.
• Design, code, and maintain mobile and web applications end‑to‑end.
• Optimize code for performance, stability, and maintainability.
• Collaborate with cloud engineers, UI engineers, QA, and DevOps teams.
• Leverage native APIs for deep integrations.
• Diagnose and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks.
• Engage with the open‑source community for critical software fixes.
• Measure product success with key metrics.
• Deploy React Native applications to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience building production client‑side or mobile applications.
• Understanding of insurance, corporate savings or pension benefits is a plus.
• Experience working in an international, culturally diverse organization.
• Proven ability to work in an agile environment and manage own tasks within sprints.
