Full Stack Engineer – Frontend‑Heavy FinTech Role

About the role

Edison Smart, in partnership with a fast‑growing fintech platform, is looking for a Full Stack Engineer to help build AI‑powered tools for banks operating in the credit and risk space. The role is customer‑facing and heavily focused on the frontend, while also requiring you to deliver backend functionality alongside clients.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate directly with banking clients to gather requirements and deliver UI/UX solutions.
• Design, develop, and maintain responsive front‑end applications using React and TypeScript.
• Implement server‑side features and APIs with Python, FastAPI and PostgreSQL.
• Deploy and manage services on AWS or Azure, ensuring CI/CD pipelines are robust.
• Leverage AI coding assistants in daily development to accelerate delivery.
• Contribute to the overall architecture of AI‑driven credit and risk tools.

Required profile

• Proven full‑stack experience with a strong emphasis on modern front‑end development.
• Comfortable working in a client‑direct environment and taking ownership of UI/UX.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS and/or Azure) and continuous integration/continuous deployment.
• Interest or exposure to AI/ML concepts and fintech/credit domains is a plus.
