Fund Accountant – Abu Dhabi

About the role

Citco is seeking a Fund Accountant to join its Abu Dhabi team. You will be responsible for preparing periodic financial reports, calculating Net Asset Value, and supporting the full accounting cycle for institutional clients.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare periodical financial statements, including NAV, balance sheet and P&L.
• Execute financial control over assets, liabilities, income, expenses and equity.
• Complete cash, portfolio and capital reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Process capital calls, distributions and maintain fund holdings records.
• Coordinate with client operations, banks, custodians and brokers.
• Assist with new client onboarding, launches and fiscal year‑end audit support.
• Liaise with internal and external parties to ensure client service agreements are met.

Required profile

• University degree in accounting, finance, economics or a professional accounting designation (CFA, CGA, CMA, CA, CPA).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, professional environment.
• Experience in the financial industry or public accounting is an advantage.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Outlook.
