Game Designer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Game Designer to join our in‑studio team in Abu Dhabi. You will help develop and support a live sandbox free‑to‑play title that already enjoys a passionate community. The role combines hands‑on design work with close interaction with players to keep the game fresh and engaging.

Key responsibilities

• Review implemented features for quality and alignment with design and business goals.
• Engage with the game’s community on forums and in‑game to understand player needs.
• Create, iterate, and balance game updates.
• Assist design efforts by drafting, reviewing, and validating design documents, test builds, economy and balancing files, and in‑game assets.
• Integrate assets into scripts and take a hands‑on approach to testing, balance, and gameplay.
• Collaborate with technical, art, audio, and production teams to deliver design vision within update cycles.
• Work with the Creative Manager and other designers to evolve features, gameplay, and balance consistently.
• Stay up‑to‑date with current and emerging trends in the mobile marketplace.

Required profile

• Experience with live update cycles and sandbox or community‑driven games is a strong plus.
• Understanding of mobile and free‑to‑play design fundamentals.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Positive attitude and drive to work in a challenging, highly collaborative team environment.
• Passion for playing and making games.
